This post has been sitting in my Drafts folder for the longest time. It was meant to be the last post to our USA trip so it is very much long overdue. Being on maternity leave gives you that time to go through your neverending list and try and get some of it crossed out and this is one of the things on the list!
San Francisco was always going to be our last stop. We were there for our honeymoon back in 2010 and had fond memories of a lively and picturesque city. Maybe we had our rose-tinted spectacles on then but it felt different this time before we realised that we were there during the Christmas season back then and the lights and decorations were up and there was a festive mood in the air.
None the matter, we still had a very lovely time exploring other areas that we’d not had a chance to see back then – admiring the Golden Gate bridge from the other side, watching a baseball game at the AT&T stadium and enjoying garlic fries and beers (yum!), chancing upon a farmer’s market where we had some awesome food and shopped to our heart’s content!
sons and daughters was the last meal for our trip and it definitely did not disappoint! I don’t even remember how we found out about the place but I must have read that it’s pretty popular because we made our reservation while we were planning our trip! We enjoyed every single dish. I don’t usually eat bread because it fills you up really quickly but the bread and the butter (oooh, the butter was delish~), I just gobbled it all up. Awesome date with the gorgeous hub made the end of our trip a pretty memorable one indeed!
